Hera Lainey has legally changed her to name to Thomasin Grace. She is a music singing artist and a dear friend who created a single "Some People Never", written and sung by her in memory of Bella. It is available for purchase on itunes and various music sites. 100% of the proceeds from this song will go towards our ministry! It is a beautiful tribute! The monthly message is: A New Year, A New Beginning. Many people celebrate New Year's Eve in various ways- going to parties, dinner, cooking, shopping and ringing in at midnight with loved ones, family and friends or relaxing peacefully at home. Some traditions are followed such as cleaning the house, doing the laundry, shopping for new clothes and paying off debts so that we can put the past behind us and move forward with a clean slate.

Also, resolutions are made and the top three are to eat healthy, exercise more and save money. Whatever our traditions or resolutions, we can have new life in Christ. No matter what we have done in the past or who we used to be, we can put it all behind us and start anew. We can let go of any guilt and remember that we are completely forgiven because of Jesus' death on the cross. We can make a fresh start as we rely on the Holy Spirit to transform us to be more like Jesus.

The apostle Paul reminds us that "the old has gone, the new is here!" (2 Corinthians 5:17). This truth is powerful for us to believe because God reconciled us to Himself through Christ and no longer counts our sins against us. Each of us can have a new beginning!

Others around us may not be willing to forget or forgive our past wrongs, but we can be assured that in God's eyes, we are no longer condemned. As Paul states, "If God is for us, who can be against us?"

Let's begin 2025 with a clean slate, a pure heart filled with love and kindness towards everyone, because of the loving opportunity Jesus so graciously gives to us all.

Scripture verse: 2 Corinthians 5:17 If anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!
