Merry Christmas & A Happy Holiday Season

The holiday season has begun! We wish you and your family joy filled holidays with peace and goodwill towards all. Please remember the children who are battling life-threatening illnesses in the hospital, their families and those who have lost their children. Our goal this month is to give over 50 families a $50 holiday gift card in addition to holiday gifts.

Hera Lainey has legally changed her to name to Thomasin Grace. She is a music singing artist and a dear friend who created a single "Some People Never", written and sung by her in memory of Bella. It is available for purchase on itunes and various music sites. 100% of the proceeds from this song will go towards our ministry! It is a beautiful tribute! The message this month is: The Christmas Miracle.

As I was decorating for Christmas, I pulled out the nativity set. Each year, as I unwrap each item, it makes me ponder on the awe and wonder that each person or animal felt in the presence of baby Jesus. When I carefully removed the wrap from around baby Jesus, I noticed that he wasn't a baby asleep and wrapped in swaddling clothes like most but laying in a manger with outstretched arms as if wanting to hug me and say, “I love you!"

This lovely figurine is the miracle of Christmas. God sent His Son to earth in a human body as a baby.  As he grew up, His hands played with toys, held the Torah and made furniture with his dad before His ministry began. His perfect infant feet carried Him across many miles to teach and heal others over the years. Then, in the final days of His life, His hands and feet began to carry His cross. They were pierced with nails to hold his body upright on the cross leading to his sacrificial death for all of us. Thus, God ended sin's control over us through this cruel death that Jesus didn't deserve but miraculously took out of love for all of us. 

Romans 8:3- If we accept Jesus' sacrifice as payment for all our wrongs and submit our lives to Him, we'll find relief from sin's bondage. Jesus, born as a baby, kicking and giggling, grew to teach others to share with us His unconditional love and peace assuring us of eternal life with Him for those who believe in Him. Jesus is the Christmas Miracle.
